Prior to ordering from Aqua, I did a little research and found that there is a vast range of vendors and prices for these types of taps, ranging from bigger brands to unknown.
I hadn’t heard of Aqua and was a little nervous that all their reviews were fairly recent, but having contacted the company directly to check, it became apparent that they are in fact well established in this field and have only recently chosen to sell to the consumer.
Satisfied of their legitimacy, I ordered on a Wednesday and received the tap on the Thursday afternoon. Being super keen, I thought I’d give it a go at self-installing that night and it was very straightforward. The video on the website and numbered cables make it pretty much impossible to get wrong and all I needed was a spanner and screwdriver. Done in under an hour!
Having been in-place for a little under a week now, I can highly recommend the tap. The quality is there (esp. at this price), everything required is provided and the water from the tap is clear and tastes great. The boiler is small and provides hot water for making your cuppa (how good now to simply turn a tap!) and is really only audible if you run the tank empty and it needs to heat up from cold, or a slight boiling noise for a moment once in a while.
I can happy recommend the 4-1 tap.
